Joanne Helmuth started dancing at the Maureen Law Theater School of dance at the young age of 3 years old. Following the IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association) syllabus she trained in all aspects of dance including Modern, Tap, Ballet, gym, jazz and much more. After gaining certificates of the highest advanced standard and traveling the UK winning competitions nationwide, she followed her dream of becoming a world famous 'Bluebell Girl' at the 'Lido de Paris' on the Champs Elysees, Paris France. Joanne danced professionally at the Lido for a period of 4 years with top dancers from all over the world and trained and worked with Mr. Pierre Rambert of the Rambert Ballet Company.

During her time in Paris she was scouted for the most prestigious model agency 'Elite Model Management' who also housed Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Cambel, Karen Moulder and many more 'super models'. This then led her to the vibrant city of Barcelona where she started a career as a full-time international model working for fashion houses such as Christian Dior, Vivian Westwood, and Sonia Rykel to name a few. In 1997 she went on to win the title 'Best Model of the World' contest and her career blossomed in both catwalk and editorial stardom.

Joanne has decided to put all her years of training and life experiences into a continuation of her passion by starting her own workshops, teaching a unique and diverse cross section focusing on dance, rhythm and music interpretation, walking and comportment including a personal tailor-made package specifically adapted to suit each and every individual. Whether it be that all important first dance at your wedding, a lifetime dream to be a tap dancer, or to gain a better understanding of rhythm and movement; Joanne has a workshop waiting for you.
